Francesca & Richard’s Fountains Abbey Wedding
Fountains Abbey is the ideal setting for the perfect wedding day. This historic building dates back to the 12th Century. It’s a very popular wedding venue and major tourist attraction. The Abbey itself is no in ruins and is run by the National Trust. Francesca and Richard’s wedding ceremony was held in Fountains Hall which is an impressive house situated next to one of the main entrances. Opposite Fountains Hall is a walled Elizabethan garden which is the perfect setting for drinks and canapes after the wedding itself. There were some really nice touches on the day including the wedding guests arriving in a vintage bus and the Groom driving a classic MG convertible sports car. The weather was perfect too which is always good news for any North Yorkshire Wedding. There were just so many beautiful locations to take the wedding photos. Ever corner of the sizeable grounds is stunning. It’s a regular location for films and period dramas which is no surprise. It was a fantastic day and I’m so glad Francesca and Richard asked me to cover their wedding day. Thanks again and congratulations!
