Crathorne Hall is a really stunning wedding venue and it’s a pleasure to cover weddings there. Emmy & James chose this as the location because of the setting and reputation of the hotel. The building itself dates back to the early 20th Century although you could be forgiven for thinking it was even older. Set in 15 acres of woodland it is totally secluded and an ideal venue for a traditional wedding with the highest levels of service. As a North Yorkshire Wedding Photographer I am biased, but I can say that Crathorne Hall is the perfect backdrop for photography – both inside and outside the grand hall. Emmy and James were a lot of fun as a couple and wanted to make sure things weren’t completely done by the book. The case in point was James asking the Registrar to pause the wedding halfway to enable him to change his relationship status on Facebook. A modern approach in traditional surroundings which the made the family and friends laugh out loud. Emmy and James were great fun and I would like to wish them all the best for their future as man and wife and to thank them for asking me to be their wedding photographer for the day.
